Biography (1)
- Mohammad Abu Sufian has been serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Business Administration, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna-6600, Bangladesh since 23 August, 2009. He completed his BBA (Honors) in Accounting in the year 2002 with first class second position in order of merit, secured a good CGPA 3.75 out of 4.00 (equivalent to A grade) from the Department of Accounting, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He also completed his MBA in Accounting & Information Systems in the year 2003 with first class first position in order of merit, obtained a very good CGPA 3.92 out of 4.00 (equivalent to A grade) from the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. After joining as a teacher of Pabna University of Science and Technology he has been efficiently teaching various courses of Accounting, Finance and Economics in the undergraduate and the postgraduate levels and he has developed skills in research, planning, conducting, monitoring, analyzing and report writing. For the last five years in the department, he has been acting as an internship supervisor at undergraduate level and research supervisor at postgraduate level and conducting these effectively. To develop his career, Mr. Sufian has completed his M. Phil. (Two-year Research Degree) in the year 2014 from the Institute of Business Administration in the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. In the meanwhile Seventeen of his research papers have been published in the reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals. Presently, he is pursuing his PhD in the field of Business Sustainability and Innovation at the Graduate Business School, Universiti Sains Malaysia under the Supervision of Prof. Dr. Sofri Bin Yahya.
