Biography (1)

  • S. M. Shahedul Alam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Pabna University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, where he has been serving since 2021. His academic expertise spans across digital marketing, research methods, tourism marketing, cultural tourism, and sustainable tourism. He previously worked as a Lecturer at both Pabna University and Primeasia University. Alam holds an MBA with distinction in Marketing from Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, Bangladesh. Alam is also an active researcher, having published numerous articles in renowned journals on topics such as sustainable tourism, customer satisfaction, and tourism recovery post-pandemic. His research has been supported by various grants, and he has led several significant research projects, focusing on the challenges and opportunities in Bangladesh's tourism and hospitality sector. In addition to his academic roles, Alam has extensive administrative experience, including serving as Assistant Provost and Program Coordinator at various educational institutions. His contributions are further recognized through his books on sustainable tourism and tourist behavior.
