Biography (1)

  • Dilip kumar Sarker was born in a remote village of Rajshahi District, Bangladesh on 31 December 1960. He passed the S.S.C exam in 1976 from Birkutsa Abinash Bilateral High School and H.S.C exam in 1978 from Jaipurhat Govt. College under Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Rajshahi. He received the Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Bogra Polytechnic Institute in1985 under Bangladesh Technical Education Board. Then he received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh in 1995. After that he received the M.Sc. and Ph.D degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh in 2005 and 2021, respectively. At present, he is working as Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. His current research interests centered around the information-theoretic security in cooperative comunication networks, cognitive radio networks, heterogeneous networks and wireless multicasting. He is a life fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
